The idea for Monster came to Jeff Taylor in a dream.

Recognized as an innovator and visionary in both the Internet and careers industries, Taylor has reinvented the way the world looks for employment. His “monster idea”, conceived at the dawn of the World Wide Web, has grown into the world’s leading online career site. Today, the Monster global network consists of local content and language sites in 21 countries and serves over 14 million unique visitors monthly.

Taylor is a frequent speaker at colleges and universities across the country, and at technology, advertising and human capital conferences hosted by organizations such as Forrester Research, 21st Century Workforce Summit, Fast Company, and The Society for Human Resources Management. His lectures consist of discussions about change, innovation, recruiting, employee retention and marketing.

He shares with his audiences his story of taking a 1200 employee company and making it one of the strongest and most well known Internet brands around the globe.

Taylor has an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Certificate-Owner/President Management (OPM) Program, Executive Education, Harvard Business School, and also holds an Honorary Doctorate from Bentley College.

In March 2000, Taylor reached yet another notable milestone: he became the Blimp Water-skiing World Champion.
