The idea for Monster came to Jeff Taylor in a dream.
Recognized
as an innovator and visionary in both the Internet and careers
industries, Taylor has reinvented the way the world
looks for employment. His “monster idea”, conceived
at the dawn of the World Wide Web, has grown into the world’s
leading online career site. Today, the Monster global network
consists of local content and language sites in 21 countries
and serves over 14 million unique visitors monthly.
Taylor
is a frequent speaker at colleges and universities across
the country, and at technology, advertising and human capital
conferences hosted by organizations such as Forrester
Research,
21st Century Workforce Summit, Fast Company, and The Society
for Human Resources Management. His lectures consist of discussions
about change, innovation, recruiting, employee retention and
marketing.
He shares with his audiences his story of taking a 1200 employee
company and making it one of the strongest and most well known
Internet brands around the globe.
Taylor has an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts
at Amherst, Certificate-Owner/President Management (OPM) Program,
Executive Education, Harvard Business School, and also holds an
Honorary Doctorate from Bentley College.
In March 2000, Taylor reached yet another notable milestone:
he became the Blimp Water-skiing World Champion.
